5/45 TEACHING INTERNSHIP

Teach but always feel teachable. 4/75 (February 27, 2023)
Hello , Diurna! Today is assessing day!

I woke up late today but I managed to be at to school on time. Since today is Monday, we joined the flag ceremony and was finished at exactly 7:20. Right after that, we went straight to the SSG office because we were informed that SSG office will be our new office or quarter for 75 days.

Yes, we were shocked because we were informed about the final days and hours of our internship duty, from 45 days to 75 days. Tiring but let's all laban! Not later that moment, I headed to Canteen to ask ma'am Arlene where she is staying, she is my CT in my minor subject– ESP if I will going to have my class today, but as she told me to just have the introducing myself to them and vice versa. And so I did, I went to Grade 9- Yulo to start our time, take note that this subject is only for Monday-Tuesday 7:30-8:30 am.

As I entered their room, they were shocked and I can definitely describe how they throw questions at me through their mind, "Kinsa kaya ni ay, ni kalit ra mag sulod." Honestly, I was calmed yet ready to laugh at that very moment because of their reactions. However, they still did what I told them and that is to arrange their chairs back to its original set up because Grade 9-Yulo is an athlete section and their room was used for the District meet last Friday to Sunday. They arranged it and slowly they realized that maybe I was assigned to take charge for their ESP class. After that moment, I introduced myself to them as an intern student of Mrs. Arlene Flores for their ESP subject. And their faces were finally at ease yet nervous because as they said that, new face, new rules. And yes indeed. After I introduced myself, I let them introduce themselves and I also let them set the rules. 2 from me, 2 from them, and 1 for all.

I also forgot to take a picture as I was discussing because I was so preoccupied with everything and so I just enjoyed my time. Everything went smooth, tiring yet worth it. I got a productive day today and just like what I remind myself that to do my best today, I did it as I asked God for strength, knowledge, and wisdom for today's episode, and tomorrow again.

Tomorrow I will continue the lesson with its activity to test their understanding of the lesson and also to test if I am effective. To end this blog, I would like to mentioned my two CTs in my minor and major for giving the trust and guidance. Today is productive and hopefully tomorrow too.
