9/45 TEACHING INTERNSHIP

"Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow." – Anthony J. D'Angelo 8/75 (March 3, 2023)

And I thanked God cause it's Friday! The longing day has come for us student interns. And yes it can be seen in our smiles and mood, though we knew that there are a lot do to and needed to finish but we can focus on doing that because tomorrow is Saturday that means to say, no duty and we can be late to get from bed. No alarm ringing at 5:00 but only the snoring sound from a deep sleep.

On the other hand, one of my problems before I go to school is that to think what to wear, hays hopefully the intern uniforms will be released next week. So there, I chose to wear our activity shirt and my black trousers, and then viola I arrived at school 7:05 am. Signed our attendance sheet and prepare myself and the lesson for my class at 8:30 am for my Grade 8- Garnet. Yesterday I just let them copy first the topic and now I will be discussing it to them– the common types of biases.

Anyway, I already discussed a little bit about the topic however I chose to repeat it now because yesterday many were absents because of the heavy rain. I'd like to mention my grade 8 students for always participating and behaving in my class. Also, after our discussion I grouped them into 5 and gave their performance task which about the 5 common types of biases. They will make a scenario according to the types they will pick and they will perform it on Wednesday. After that, I reminded them to study their notes because we will have a long quiz on Monday.

Right after that, I went straight to my 3rd period class, Grade 7- Lavender. I also did the same to my grade 8 class, I let them copy yesterday the topic first, then earlier I discussed it. However, in the middle of my discussion, one of my students shouted out that her classmate was using his phones, and so as agreed that no cellphones allowed, I confiscated it and ask him to talk to me and get his phone in our quarter, SSG office. After my class for the morning, we went to Kolehiyo ng Pantukan for our Action Research defense.

We looked for our adviser, Ms. Phoebe and Mr. Albeb to sign the papers to conduct our intervention in our respective schools. We waited for almost 40 minutes for Ma'am Phoebe because she was having a defense also. We went back to Pantukan NHS after all the papers were signed. Then, we ate our lunch and waited for my 2nd period class.

And just like what I did to section Lavender that's the same what I did to my Jasmine. And then viola, we went all home also thinking for the things that we need to finish and do during our weekends. Goodnight, Diurna!
